Male Leopard trapped
An 8-year-old male leopard was trapped in Gokulam, one of the extensions of the city, by the Forest authorities after an hour and half operation on September 21. The wild cat had strayed into the city from neighbouring bushy area and was noticed on the morning of Friday by the local residents. An 8,000-strong crowd had gathered to witness the successful trapping operation.
