Damden Introduces Independent Flats with unique passive Air Cooling design

Mysore October 10, 2005: As Mysore is set to become the next hub for IT, ITES and manufacturing industries, there’s a great demand for residential and commercial buildings. To fulfill this demand, Bangalore based Damden Properties today announced the launch of its first residential property in Mysore, Vontikoppal. The project - Damden Beryl, with its eco-friendly independent-flats concept, passive air-cooling and natural-light uses environmentally sustainable resources.

“With the Bangalore-Mysore expressway coming up, we foresee tremendous potential for real estate in Mysore”, said Mr. Damla T Mathew, Managing Partner, Damden Properties. Mysore is currently in a position to plan the infrastructure to supplement the economic growth. Its proximity to Bangalore widens the options for people to live and work between Mysore and Bangalore. Availability of land, suitable climate and changing life style has incited people to invest in real estate in Mysore. With big names like Infosys already setting up shop and Wipro waiting in the ranks, the transition has already begun. Damden with its value added projects is gearing up to equip Mysore with the required infrastructure. We aim to provide clients with property and construction solutions that meet their exact needs.” He added.

Damden Beryl is designed to ensure that no two apartments share a common wall, which means that each apartment will have its own three sides with the fourth side leading into a common lobby. The complex has a rain-water harvesting and waste management system and is constructed in accordance with the principles of Vaastu-Shastra. Damden Beryl is a fully functional colony with children’s park, clubhouse and a 24-hour professional security service. The unique passive Air Cooling design maximizes the flow of fresh, cool air into each apartment. A relatively ignored family oriented fellow living being – the Ant, inspires this. This natural system is used in Anthills for air circulation and ventilation. All Damden projects are planned and executed with three key parameters – Nature, Resources and Aesthetics, to give customers a home.

“Damden Properties has a long term plan for Mysore. A series of residential apartments, villas, townships, IT parks are planned for Mysore in the next 3 years. Project outlay will touch Rs. 200 crore by the end of 2007 from the current 50 crore”, said Mr. Dennis T Basil, Managing Partner, Damden Properties.

Damden Properties has got more than 2000 satisfied customers in India and abroad. Some of the ongoing projects of Damden Properties in Bangalore are Damden Yerra, Damden Neptunnia, Damden Sienna, Damden Colonia, and Damden Verdana.
